AKC Note: We believe this is the 8th new spinning plant announced in the U.S.A. in the last 2.5 years together with a number of other investments in expansions at existing facilities. All the new plants are being built by non U.S.A. owned companies. Most of these plants will focus on cotton spinning as U.S.A. cotton is very competitively priced. Unfortunately, U.S.A. polyester staple is priced very uncompetitively due to very high polyester raw material prices in the U.S.A.
